As you understand MAD's vision and mission, the only way to deliver high-touch support (in a cost-effective manner) is by mobilising young leaders to catalyse community members to be active citizens. Hence, we developed the Community Organising model to empower any young person to bring together a team required to deliver this impact. We ensure chapters can operate effectively and independently while aligning with MAD's broader goals by providing them with the necessary tools and guidance.
Each MAD chapter team has various roles that ensure the chapter's goals are met. The team consists of:
Community Organizer (COs) and Chapter Organizer (CHO): The flywheel who mentors the chapter team in operations, community engagement, and resource management. The leader who oversees all chapter operations, ensuring that goals are met and activities align with our broader mission.
Chapter Fellows: The leader to our volunteers, providing guidance and support while ensuring the delivery of high-quality interventions.
Volunteers: The mentors to the children and youth, providing guidance and support
Children & Youth: The one who receives the impact of this program.
